Group Work

Classroom Management

Read the article linked below for tips and basics on classroom management,

2nd and 3rd graders will be reading a collection of bite-sized folk tales from around the world. Instruction will focus on vocabulary, reading comprehension strategies and multiculturalism.

2nd & 3rd Grade
The Competition

Each club's 4th - 6th grade team will be reading a different novel written by Roald Dahl. Instruction will focus on literary devices, comprehension strategies and appreciation for an author’s craft.

This year's competition will involve each team of both older and younger students brining a project to an agency-wide literary fair. Students will showcase their work for judges, participate in a quiz about their text(s) and enjoy a screening of a movie (or two!)
